Hizi community clubs lack audited accounts thats why corporates shun doing business with them. MYSA had the Odibet sponsorship but odi walishaftiwa bila lube mpaka wakaterminate due to lack of accountabilty. Kwani for 28 years they didn't build any long term corporate sponsor unless Kuna a very serious rot Kwa management

Local sports organisations and federations need to conduct themselves like businesses. They are not NGOs nor are they public bodies to be funded by taxpayers.
After 35 years, Mathare should have its own stadium, business centre, merchandise, etc. The fact that it's a slum club should have seen it attract sponsors from far and wide, including partnerships with the likes of EPL teams (I am guessing a team like Arsenal wouldn't mind spending $300,000 each year to boast its sponsoring 'African orphans in the biggest slum on the continent to play football')
The fact that they are in the current mess means when the times were good the guys just sat on their laurels....................
