Read the Bible with the Ngima's

Ngimanene na Muchere

Elder Lister
Today's word comes from Isaiah 10:1-3

Woe(A) to those who make unjust laws,
to those who issue oppressive decrees,(B)
2 to deprive(C) the poor of their rights
and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,(D)
making widows their prey
and robbing the fatherless.(E)
3 What will you do on the day of reckoning,(F)
when disaster(G) comes from afar?

In light of yesterday's gavament shenanigans, I think I have preached.

But we know the gavament apologists will come wielding Romans 13:5 calling for absolute and unquestioning obedience to gavament, but I refer them 5 verses down to Romans 13:10 "Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law," Let's start with love, it's the greatest commandment of all.

St Augustine said, "An unjust law is no law at all." Which means I have a right, even a duty to resist. With violence or civil disobedience. You should pray I choose the latter.
