I can smell IPP contract-like thing with the many concessions right left and centre . But I am looking forward for the positive impacts of the project - Thika road user .

I also live on thika road and that BRT station pale TRM italeta shida sana since it is also located on an entry road
 
this one already smells of a scandal by the time frame. Give them a shorter period and if they do a better job then you can extend the period otherwise it will completely be a struggle.

TRM and BRT on same sentence ,kwani BRT zinatumia Service i thought station ya hiyo area iko Safari Park and hapo kwa bridge ya Roysambu/near KPLC sub station

the highway entrance from TRM occupies the outer lane and the BRT station occupies the inner lane leaving highway motorists just one lane to use, the center one or risk having an accident on the other two lanes

They will be ran exactly like matatus.....we have basically just reduced the number of matatu operators to 1 or 4 big fish.....
Why couldn't they form a company and let it manage the entire Nairobi transport system like a company limited by shares where Kenyans are shareholders? The profits would help sustain the company and even venture into offering cross-county transport services.
It can expand and even have its own garages with trained youths as mechanics...expand further and have its own cash washes and even lodgings to host long distance travellers travelling overnight....
The amount of job creation it would do would be tremendous and the ripple effect would be felt countrywide.
And we have people who think that this government has brains....my God!
