Shit? You forget India has one of the most advanced medical industries in the world. How they do not associate poor sanitation with disease prevalence is mindboggling.

It is the way they are cultured. On a trip to Beijing I discovered that most local pubs do not have a urinal. They depend on communal toilets that could be a distance away and when you get there the toilet is a row of holes without partitions. People come and squat, finish their business and go away.
