The park needed a facelift but hii mambo ya kufanya vitu bila public participation ndio noma. Miti nazo wamekata kata ni kama wanahitaji kuni. Sato saw some iconic ones opposite All Saints' Cathedral being felled under the watch of kanjo and army men. Sad.
Hiyo ya Uhuru Park kwanza raia wakikumbuka vile watu wengi wameimezea mate, wanashikwa na mori.
Soon tunaweza jipata under military rule if courageous folks like the ones who went to the courts go silent.

too late, the park is already in shambles, the dias is already in ruins, mounds of soil all over, only effect here is the cost implications to nairobians.
