So guys, I have been doing some research and have come across this article on the Electronic World Trade Platform that Jack Ma founded to boost the WTO efforts. you can read that article here, https://www.alizila.com/rwanda-first-in-africa-to-join-alibaba-led-ewtp/
Here is a quote from Jack Ma from that article
Kenya is missing out bigtime on this EWTP commerce platform, so we just have to contend with dealing with middle men for now who rob people senseless.
You recall he had made his first visit(s) to africa here in Kenya before settling on Rwanda and as Mukhisa Kituyi put it, that it was due to corruption levels and blackmail by people in gavament who requested some "facilitation fees" first.
I also recall Dangote had big investment plans here in Kenya but moved his plans to Ethiopia? because of the hefty "facilitation" fees requested by gavament officers.
And these are just what we know. Juzi even parliament were told that they have no authority to request who the owners are for these private companies running government businesses all over.

this comment was ofcourse made with Kenya in mind. The EWTP was first launched in Malaysia, a country that Kenya loves to compare itself with....cough cough....“People ask me, ‘Why Rwanda? There are so many countries in Africa,'” Ma continued. “When I first came to Rwanda, I was shocked by its ability to embrace change. If every country was like Rwanda, think how powerful Africa could be. My answer is, ‘Why not Rwanda?'”
