SUBJECT: MURDER INCIDENT REPORT 06/04/22 At about 0610hrs, at Kaplemur Sub-location, Kabiemit location about 15 Kms South of the Station. It happened that a male adult aged 36years reported that yesterday at about 2200hrs, he found unknown person in bed with his wife. He alleges that he confronted him but he was over powered and in the process he was stabbed on the left side of the stomach and the assailant escaped. He then directed his anger towards his wife and his three children. He strangled all of them to death, namely
1. Wife 38yrs,
2. Child 11 yes,
3. Child 8 yrs, and
4. Child aged 6 yrs.He later stabbed the wife at the throat after strangling her. Scene police and established that the accused person was rushed to Kapsabet Referral Hospital immediately he surrendered to Police Station at about 0600am attempted to commit suicide after committing the heinous act but failed. The accused had a deep open wound at the left side of the stomach suspected to be self inflicted. Also recovered from the scene is a kitchen knife believed to be the murder weapon. A piece of cloth which is believed he intended to use recovered while tied at the trass of the roof. Scene processed and bodies removed to Kimbilio Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
