An 11-year-old girl is currently fighting for her life at Kenyatta National Hospital after her granny burnt her allowing a cat to eat her piece of chicken meat. The woman who has been identified as one Magret Odongo, 54, is said to have returned home in the evening and started to prepare a meal of ugali which was to be taken with a renaming piece of chicken and stew. After finishing, she turned to the sufuria where the chicken had been kept in order to warm it and serve the meal. She was flabbergasted to find that only a small amount of stew was remaining. The chicken piece had been devoured. She called the young girl in for interrogation. In her defense, the girl claimed that it must have been the neighbor's cat that slipped in and enjoyed the meal instead of them. This did not settle well with the lady who picked the stove she was using to prepare ugali and hit her on the chest. The paraffin spilled all over her body causing her serious burn injuries. She was rushed to the hospital as the police arrested her

Very unfortunate. Godspeed recovery to the girl and immense empathy and mercy to the lady!
