I have communicated these things to the secretariat but seems they have sikio la kufa. I speak truth to power and I do it without fear or favour.
Remember that Raila went to prison for 9 years so that we can have independent thoughts. I hope that people will listen.
Those who will mess Raila’s presidential campaigns;
1. Family Members:
They don’t care about professionalism and would rather even be where their presence brings negativity around Raila. You’ll find Raila Junior attacking bloggers from Jubilee having a private meeting with Raila while telling them, “umekuja kufanya nini kwetu na ulikuwa unatukana babangu.”
If you have found your father meeting someone in your father's home, how are you being a man by attacking your father's guests? Raila went to prison for us to have different thoughts on the same thing but still sit on the same table.
Again, let me say this without fear or favour since that is what Raila taught me. Mama and baba should focus on the presidency. Trying to force candidates in wards and constituencies is wrong as people now value county and grass-roots leadership more than the Presidency. If they must reward anyone, they should avoid elective posts and wait to give them govt appointments.
As long as there is no clarity on ODM nominations, being a member and participating in the nominations is futile. Afadhali be hata Independent Candidate.
If baba can call ODM officials in the constituencies and counties to tell them to rig MCA and MP so and so without regard to the popularity of the same, what’s the need to participate in the nominations?
Mama, you said you have released Raila to Kenyans. Must you now shepherd him around? Why the desperation to hold on to his coat? When some youth organised Raila's birthday at Bomas last time, family members took over and turned it into one uncomfortable family affair.
A christmas party which was going to be great in Kisumu was messed by some ugly colonial dresses on Raila who even refused to have a colonial name. Even the chair brought from Nairobi looked odd on baba.
The nephews and nieces who will do anything just to make money during the campaigns. They will always push their companies to be given various campaign related tenders and not from those who have the professional capabilities.
Communications leadership is now torn between the boyfriends of some relatives and mainstream media newsroom rejects. It’s simply disappointing. Don’t we value order? Simple order? Who is in charge of the media?
To be continued………… (add your thoughts in the comments).
