India is a brutal place, especially for the poor masses. One thing we don't seem to realize is that we are a mini version of India. We rarely notice it because we are accustomed to it just like a bad smell that has lingered for too long. It's only by looking at places like India that you see familiar set-ups. I would recommend policymakers to benchmark with India, to see how things should not be done.
