Nancy Crampton-Brophy, who wrote an essay entitled “How To Kill Your Husband”, was sentenced to life in prison Monday after last month’s conviction for murdering her husband.
The 71-year-old gunned down her husband Daniel Brophy in 2018 after buying an untraceable “ghost gun” kit that she claimed were for research purposes. Prosecutors argued the couple were in serious debt and had a life insurance policy worth more than $1mn.
