Today, Commissioner Philemon Mwaisaka attended the funeral send-off ceremony of the late Mrs. Mary Chao Jumbe at Ngulu Kiweto Werugha ward. He expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Mwaisaka family, offering prayers and encouragement to the grieving family.
Reflecting on his own losses, Mwaisaka shared that in 2023, he lost his beloved wife, and in 2024, his daughter. He emphasized that death is not a subject of jokes, especially during such difficult times.
He urged everyone to consider how they will spend their remaining life, encouraging them to leave a legacy of love. Mwaisaka pointed out the prevalent issues of gossip and jealousy, calling for a change in mindset to focus on what pleases God, which will lead to a vision of the kingdom of heaven.
Commissioner noted that divisions among clans, brothers, and sisters have become common, with many no longer greeting or communicating with one another. He called for prayers for strength to foster love, loyalty, patience, and kindness towards one another. By doing good to the community, he believes that blessings will follow.
In closing, Mwaisaka reminded everyone that unity and love are essential in overcoming life's challenges, and that together, they can create a supportive and caring environment for all.
