On Wednesday, 14-02-2024, a police officer Cpl Barrisa stopped a lorry for checking, It was found to be lacking vital documents. The officer asked the driver to take it to the police station. The driver, Stephen Towet started driving and then accelerated, knocked a tree, aiming the passenger's side, where the officer was sitting. The driver died of injuries while the officer is in stable condition.
