18 transformers vandalised in Muranga

Detectives in Murang'a are investigating a syndicate involving thugs working in cahoots with crooked current and former KPLC employers to vandalise transformers in the area. These third party agents intentionally cause blackouts and approach the affected residents while masquerading as Kenya Power officials to reconnect power to their homesteads at a fee. A total of 18 transformers have so far been vandalised
