Fauci and his principal will always find someone else to blame...and now that they know different, we don't see them lead the way in masking. I know everyone was winging it on COVID-19 but even now that new science points otherwise we still don't see leadership; only scapegoating.

Do you think black lives protects could have contributed to the spike?

stop shifting. The protestors could have gone out with masks if they had received led from the front advice on masking from their government.
Fake news, don't be afraid. Or where is your righteousness to government evils rained on their people in Gikomba? Can see you conveniently go missing on those threads.

This is fake news, brave Americans are not wearing masks

So for you the big problem is that the protestors who didnt observe social distancing had no masks on. So if you're okay with that why do you get mad when here at home we tell people to put on masks and go about their economic activites.?

@Okiya no every thread I post is about you or an opportunity to scrape the interwebs for Drumpf and start a 'whatabout' battle. This is a set of indelible truths you can never 'win'.

Numbers do not lie. The USA Iis way ahead, and still increasing the gap.

Its the way you post half truths to suit your narrative. So i come in to post the full truth. Kama hii hapa you say numbers are rising which is true. But conveniently don't tell people that the protests could have contributed.

Is your argument then that the Amerocan people should have stayed silent aftef a handcuffed Black man was murdered in broad daylight?

You problem is that you'll say and do anything to avoid admitting the serious blunder that the one responsible person made.

American people were told to close their businesses and stay at home. When trump says he wants to reopen he's told a big No. Covid is still here. Then suddenly Americans are told to comeout in large numbers and hold protests for George Kirby. See the double standards.

There was failure on several fronts:

1. There was insufficient data to confirm that the public would benefit from wearing mask. With hindsight, this was incorrect. Call it knowledge gap.
2. There was insufficient supply of PPE across the globe. It was worried (correctly) that people who were not necessarily in danger would buy and horde these critical supplies needed by medical workers.
3. It was not until April that the scientists learnt about how airbone this virus. That's when we got the 2m rule. Any closer distancing and you have to wear a mask.

There are still too many unknowns with this disease. The world should shift gears from passing the buck to really working together to mitigate it.

What unknowns? Where are the mass deaths in Kenya? Africa?
Our leaders are just bonobos who C&P from a disgraced WHO
